Employment Opportunities:

Memory Care Specialists
You will be the industry standard of the Highest Quality of In-Home Memory Care. You will combine patience, compassion, caring, professionalism, honesty, problem solving, a positive attitude and a love to create an exceptional care plan. We will focus on creating a dementia friendly home environment that, with the appropriate assessment and modification to the home, you will become equipped in managing behavior symptoms within the home environment.
Experience:
Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in Alzheimer’s/dementia care. Willing to demonstrate extreme patience, compassion and ability to work with people with Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia. Additional training is provided before you meet your new client.

Travel Companions
You will provide social stimulation to various outings for our clients in the San Francisco Bay Area. Our services make it possible for loved ones, to enjoy local activities with safety, security, companionship and offer the assistance when needed to our clients to ensure a pleasurable experience. Local outings can be enjoyable for people with Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia, as it can offer new experiences and a break from a routine. Your client will prefer to travel with the person who cares for them. We offer private assistance for individuals to local events, shopping, dining, museums, concerts, plays, movies and other outings the family might suggest.
Experience:
After you have formed a friendly relationship with your client as a Memory Care Specialist, they will gain confidence when you offer an additional service as a Travel Companion.

Geriatric Care Manager
You will provide families with long-term support, guidance, counseling, products and resources. You will always maintain constant communication among family members. Your extensive knowledge of Alzheimer’s or other forms of dementia will provide families, who have serious concerns about their love ones, will ensure them of their safety, independence and their quality of life. We will create a customized approach to Alzheimer’s care where our client can receive the highest level of memory care.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Required
Minimum 3 to 5 years of experience working in the dementia care field.
Dementia care, case management, assessment, counseling, and support group experience.

Family Training Coach
You will provide family members with knowledge, effective strategies and skills about Alzheimer’s or dementia, which will enhance your understanding of memory loss. You will recognize the unique needs of family and friends, of those who are experiencing issues related to Alzheimer’s or dementia behavior. The emotional journey of memory loss can be overwhelming for families. Our goal is to provide you with the knowledge to achieve a quality positive visit for all family members.
Qualifications, Skills, and Experience
Required Minimum of 5 years’ experience about Alzheimer’s or dementia knowledge, about the disease process, the changes associated with dementia illnesses, how they affect the individual's ability to function, and strategies that help maintain the highest quality of care for our clients.

Essential Qualifications:

  • Minimum 3 years’ experience in •Alzheimer’s/dementia care
  • Experience and specific skills required to perform our services
  • Speaking, hearing and writing English clearly in person and on the telephone
  • Communicate with the client in a friendly and congenial manner
  • Excellent management and interpersonal skills, must effectively interact with the Families
  • Excellent communication skills verbal, written and listening
  • Adapt to various individual living environments
  • Proficient in the use of a personal computer
  • Ability to represent the organization in a professional manner
  • Ability to travel as needed to perform job duties
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends
  • Helping administer oral medications
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds

Special Responsibilities:

  • Understand and accept the behaviors of dementia
  • Identify techniques in redirecting challenging behaviors
  • Identify the behavior symptoms exhibited by the dementia clients
  • Identify environmental clues that trigger challenging behaviors
  • Understand and address the following behavioral symptoms related to activities of daily living:
    • Confusion
    • Combative Behavior
    • Refusal of Care
    • Suspiciousness
    • Resistance to Bathing
    • Wanting To Go Home
    • Sleep Disturbances
    • Sundowning Behaviors
